Centennial Olympic Park

Centennial Park

Step into the front yard of the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park and you will discover Centennial Olympic Park. Situated near the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, College Football Hall of Fame and the Center for Civil and Human Rights Museum, the park is the centerpiece of downtown Atlanta. Currently undergoing a $17 million makeover, this world famous twenty-one acre park was built in 1996 to celebrate the Olympic Games. The grounds will remain open to the public during the renovation.

Experience a self-guided, audio tour to learn about the architecture, history, trivia and more as you stroll through the park. Splash pads, in the shape of the Olympic circles, provide a way to cool off on hot, summer days. Enjoy a synchronized water, lights and music show with The Fountain of Rings, playing four times daily. The Fountain of Rings is one of the most recognized landmarks in the city, and the focal point of the park.

Ride on the SkyView Atlanta ferris wheel to enjoy the finest views in the city. The ferris wheel features climate-controlled gondolas to provide a luxurious ride to the top. Centennial Olympic Park is a must-see when visiting Atlanta.
