Omni Dallas Hotel Policies
Check-In/Out
- Check-in: 4 PM /Check-out: 11 AM
- Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check-in.
You may request an earlier check-in or check-out, however, it's not guaranteed. Guests must be 21 years old to check-in. Guests 17 years and younger are considered children. Guests arriving prior to this time may enjoy use of all the resort amenities, including pools, restaurants, spa, fitness and retail outlets. To check-in, guests must present a valid credit card with a chip to be authorized for room, tax and incidentals. Credit Cards without a chip, will not be accepted.
Cash-Paying Guests
All reservations must be accompanied by a valid credit or debit card. The hotel can accept cash as a form of payment, but only at checkout.
Debit/Credit Card Policy
The use of a debit card will initiate, at the time of check-in, an immediate deduction from your bank account for your room rate, inclusive of tax, for all room nights plus $100 per night for incidentals. Upon check-out, any unused funds will be credited back to your account. Based upon the business rules of your bank, it may take 72 hours or longer for your bank to process this back to your account.
Early Departure Policy
There will be a $50 charge for guests departing prior to their departure date. If a group or a pre-paid rate has a minimum night stay requirement, the remaining nights will be charged.
Good Night's Rest Policy
To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, the hotel enforces a Good Night’s Rest Policy in our guest rooms. Only registered guests are permitted to enter guest room elevators or guest rooms after 10 PM. All guests must be registered at check-in. If a disturbance is created as a result of a party or noise from a guest room, all guests in the room will be asked to leave the hotel without a refund. These guidelines are in place to ensure every guest enjoys a peaceful and pleasant stay in our hotel.
Late Check-Out Policy
Subject to availability. Late check-out may be available for a rate of $80.
Non-Smoking Policy
Guest rooms are 100% smoke-free. There is a $500 fine + tax if a guest smokes anywhere on property other than the designated smoking area.
Paying for Another Guest's Room
If you would like to pay for another guest’s room, please contact the hotel at (214) 744-6664. Payment must be completed 7 days prior to arrival date and we reserve the right to deny authorization for any reason.
The name on the credit card must match the guest checking into the hotel. If the credit card that will be used for payment will not be physically present at check in or the credit card holder will not staying at the hotel, please call 888-444-6664 for an online credit card authorization form prior to arrival.
Pet Policy
Omni Dallas is a pet-friendly hotel. Guests must have a valid credit card on their reservation. The weight of the pet is not to exceed 25 lbs. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $125 will be charged per stay, per room (not per pet). One pet is allowed per guest room. If guest plans to have two or more animals in the room, he or she must contact the hotel directly to discuss. Dogs and cats only are allowed. Extreme or wild animals are not authorized. In the event a dog begins to bark or is the cause of guest complaints, the guest will be asked to remove the pet. The pet must be placed in a carrier when housekeeping or engineering staff enters the room. The guest will be required to sign a document accepting complete financial responsibility for any damage caused by the pet. Guide dogs for the blind or otherwise disabled are exempt from the pet policy; there is no weight limit or pet fee.
Shipping & Handling
Omni Dallas is pleased to receive packages shipped to the hotel for registered guests. All packages are received through our UPS Business Center. The guest receiving the package will be charged a handling fee based on the weight and size of the package. Please contact the UPS Store at (214) 652-4256. Wellness Policy
Any use of Omni’s fitness centers, Fit Kits, Sleep Kits, or participation in off-site exercise classes or other programs offered by Omni (“Wellness Benefits”) is done at participant’s sole risk. Omni shall not be liable for any injuries, loss, or damage to the participant or participant’s personal property resulting from the use of the Wellness Benefits, regardless of whether it occurs as a result of Omni’s negligence. If the participant chooses to use the Wellness Benefits, the participant hereby expressly waives any claim of liability - for personal/bodily injury or damages - which occurs to the participant or for any loss of or injury to person or property. This waiver is intended to be a complete release of any responsibility for personal injuries and/or property loss/damage sustained by any participant while on Omni’s premises or at off-site exercise classes, whether using exercise equipment or not.
Photography and Videography
In order to provide a quality experience and privacy for our guests, professional photography and filming on property is limited and requires advance notice and permission prior to shooting (at least 48 hours), and proper proof of insurance. Omni Dallas prohibits music video and modeling photo shoots. The Uptown Terrace Infinity Pool Bar & Grill, main lobby area on the first level and any meeting space is not available for video or photo shoots.
Shoots can be scheduled Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. For shoots wishing to be scheduled after hours, a hotel security team member will be required to be on location at a cost no greater than $50/hour.
Location Fees:
Photography - $500 minimum, two hours
Videography - $1000 minimum, two hours
Additional hours - $500/hour

Light Show Request at Omni Dallas Hotel
Omni Dallas is wrapped in over four miles of multicolor LED lights. The hotel lights up different colors and logos to recognize meetings, conventions, and groups in house as well as holidays, city wide events, and charitable organizations throughout the year.
As a city owned property, there are guidelines as well as a city ordinance we must follow. Please read the information carefully before submitting your request.
Qualifying events:
- In hotel meeting, event or convention (check with sales team for minimum spend)
- In Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center meeting, event or convention that includes Omni Dallas Hotel guest rooms
- City wide event complete with a Mayor's Proclamation
- A national day of awareness (i.e. national holidays, hunger awareness month, etc.)
Non-qualifying events:
- Personal requests (i.e. marriage proposal, happy birthday message, sentiments for the deceased, prom-posal, etc.)
- Gender reveals
- Opening of new business
- Celebration of longevity of business (i.e. centennial year)
- Advertising or promotions of any kind including hashtags
- Personal names not belonging to a group or legitimate company
If an organization would like to host a meeting or event at the hotel and have a lighting display the evening of the event, please contact the Omni Dallas Hotel sales team at
DALDTNLeads@omnihotels.com. Costs associated with the lighting display can be discussed with the assigned sales team member.
Each group or event will be charged an operators fee. This is non-negotiable and includes charitable organizations that are 501c qualified. Organizations claiming to be a 501c must submit a certificate showing they qualify as a registered non-profit.
