Wellness Assessment

90 minutes $380 | 60 minutes $280 | Tuesday & Thursday

Experience a unique manual therapy technique that treats the underlying causes of pain, inflammation, and movement dysfunctions. Our physical therapist will assess your functional movements, identify areas of pain and/or restrictions, and then gently treat focal tender points with counterstrain to help you return to an improved state of alignment and structural balance with less pain. You can request education on exercises to help maintain these improvements as well. This technique blends well with all of our other offerings to help improve your state of wellness.

New patients must always start with the 90 min. Additional services will be 60 min.

Jonathan Eaton, PT

Jonathan Eaton, PT

Jonathan Eaton, PT, graduated from Old Dominion University’s physical therapy program in 1999, initially focusing on a traditional "sports medicine" approach to rehabilitation. His interest in alternative methods led him to begin studying Strain and Counterstrain in 2005, which he blended with traditional physical therapy techniques. In 2017, he started incorporating Fascial Counterstrain into his practice, and after a transformative personal experience as a patient in 2019, it became his primary area of study. By 2020, Fascial Counterstrain became his exclusive treatment approach due to its remarkable effectiveness in addressing a wide range of complex issues. In March 2025, Jonathan founded Still Waters Physical Therapy with locations in Monterey, VA, and The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa. His mission is to help clients experience profound improvements in conditions that were once considered untreatable by traditional methods and to inspire a fresh perspective on health and wellness.
