Cash paying guests
All reservations must be accompanied by a valid credit or debit card. The hotel can accept cash as a form of payment, but only at checkout.
Debit/credit card policy
The use of a debit card will initiate, at the time of check-in, an immediate deduction from your bank account for your room rate, inclusive of tax, for all room nights plus $100 per night for incidentals. Upon check-out, any unused funds will be credited back to your account. Based upon the business rules of your bank, it may take 72 hours or longer for your bank to process this back to your account.
Paying for another guest's room
Third parties wishing to pay for another guest’s room must contact the hotel at (210) 518-1000.
Early departure policy
There will be a charge of one night’s room plus tax for guests departing prior to their departure date and after 2 PM.
Pet Policy
Mokara Hotel & Spa is a pet-friendly hotel. Guests must have a valid credit card on their reservation. The weight of the pet is not to exceed 50 lbs. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $125 will be charged per stay, per room (this is for basic cleaning of pet hair and odor). This fee will not be assessed for service dogs. Emotional support animals are not considered to be service animals by the ADA. Additional charges for damage may be imposed, if applicable. No dangerous animals, animals perceived to be threatening, wild animals, or other unusual animals will be allowed. The hotel shall make the final determination of whether a specific pet will be permitted on the premises. If the pet causes damage, barks, makes other noises, or is otherwise a cause of guest complaints, the hotel reserves the right to remove the pet and relocate it to another part of the hotel. The hotel prohibits pets from all of the following areas of the hotel: Pool, Fitness Center, Spa, Retail Shops, and any Dining area. The pet must be kept in a pet carrier when hotel associates must be in the room to clean or provide other services and/or if you plan on leaving the pet by itself. The guest will be required to sign a document accepting complete financial responsibility for any damage caused by the pet. Limit of two (2) pets allowed in all room types. Guide dogs for the blind or otherwise disabled are exempt from the pet policy — there is no weight limit or pet fee.
Non-smoking Policy
For the well-being of our guests and employees, Mokara Hotel & Spa is a 100% smoke-free facility. The only places where smoking is allowed are 15 feet outside the property entrance. Smoking not permitted on hotel balconies. If smoking violation occurs in a room, the guest will be charged a $500 non-refundable fee.
Photography and videography
Mokara Hotel and Spa prohibits photo shoots without prior approval.
In order to provide a quality experience and privacy for our guests, professional photography and filming on property is limited and requires the following: advance notice, approval of the shoot, payment of location fees prior to the shoot, and proper proof of insurance. Good night's rest policy
To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, our hotel enforces a strict “no party policy” in our guest rooms. Maximum occupancy in a room with a king bed is three and a room with two double beds is four. The hotel enforces these maximum occupancy standards and may ask any unregistered guests to vacate a room at any time. In addition, our hotel does not register rooms to minors. A registered adult must be present in all rooms at all times where minors or other non-registered guests are present. In the event we receive a noise complaint and there are unregistered guests after 10:00 p.m., all guests in the room will be asked to leave the hotel without a refund. If complaints of noise in your room inconvenience other guests, we reserve the right to charge your account for any rebates given to these guests as a result of their discomfort. Please understand these guidelines are in place to ensure every guest enjoys a peaceful and pleasant stay in our hotel. By signing this policy at check-in, you are in agreement with its content.
General
Omni Hotels reserves the right to not allow the open carry of handguns or other weapons on the hotel premises.
