Day One

Morning

Begin your morning with breakfast at Neighborhood Services or enjoy selections from the in-room dining menu in the comfort of your guest room. Enjoy dishes offering a twist on breakfast classics, such as the Frisco Omelet, Broken Yolk Sandwich, or Pork Carnitas Migas.

After breakfast, head across Tostito’s Party Plaza to tour The Star, the World Headquarters and Practice Facility of the Dallas Cowboys. Experience the place where the Dallas Cowboys train and work 355 days of the year. Tours take place every 30 minutes starting at 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. seven days a week. Highlights of The Star VIP Guided Tour include the War Room, Nike Star Walk, Super Bowl Memorabilia and more!

Following the tour, explore the variety of offerings at The Star. Along with the Omni Hotel and the Cowboys Headquarters, the 91-acre campus also features a variety of shopping and dining options.

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon exploring Frisco’s more than 9 million square feet of retail! Head to the Stonebriar District, featuring Stonebriar Centre mall, the Center at Preston Ridge, IKEA and much more, all located just over one mile from the Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star.

Make time to head to The Rail District, Frisco's historic downtown, featuring some of the most unique boutiques in North Texas including Sunny Paige, Bittersweet Ivy, Tumbleweed TexStyles and Frisco Mercantile.

Evening

Enjoy dinner at one of Frisco’s downtown restaurants such as Randy’s Steakhouse, The Heritage Table or @nerdvana.food+spirits. Following dinner, enjoy the sights and sounds of Downtown Frisco on the patio at Eight | 11 Place or Frisco Rail Yard. Featuring an extensive wine and craft beer menu, Eight | 11 Place serves up nightly live music on the patio, perfect for enjoying their popular fireside s’mores. Just down the street, Frisco Rail Yard is a food truck park featuring a full bar and nightly live music under the stars. 

Day Two

Morning

Enjoy breakfast at UP Inspired Kitchen, the Depot Café or Frisco Diner. Following breakfast, take in Frisco’s arts and cultural offerings.

Whether it’s your first visit to Frisco or 100th, make plans to visit the Frisco Heritage Museum and Center. The Frisco Heritage Museum and Center allows visitors to get up close and personal with yesteryear. The center features historic homes and buildings available for tours including a log cabin, a house built in 1895, the replica of the original Frisco Depot and many more. Head inside to the museum and you’ll learn how this area’s earliest settlers lived, worked, and played through photographs, historical artifacts and educational displays.

Continue the historical adventure with a tour of the Museum of the American Railroad. The growing organization strives to preserve locomotives from the steam and diesel-electric era, as well as preserve and restore passenger coaches. The Museum is home to one of the largest collections of Pullman Cars in the United States, as well as a Union Pacific Steam Locomotive "Big Boy" 4018, one of the largest steam engines ever built.

Before lunch, get your game on at the National Videogame Museum (NVM). The NVM is the country's first dedicated videogame museum, established to document, preserve and exhibit the video game industry's rich history. The museum features more than 100,000 videogame consoles, games and artifacts from the past and present and brings to life science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) values by tapping into America’s enthusiasm for playing and creating videogames through interactive exhibits.

Afternoon

Continue your cultural adventure by exploring Frisco’s extensive public art trail. The city itself has more than 60 pieces of free public art in its collection, all scattered throughout town. A few unique pieces worth checking out include “Prairie Bells,” located at the George A Purefoy Municipal Center; “The Pitch,” located just outside of Rider’s Field and “Cattle Drive,” located in Central Park.

Next, head to the Texas Frisco Sculpture Garden. Located at Hall Park, the Texas Sculpture Garden is a collection of 40 contemporary works by some of the state’s most important artists and is recognized as the largest collection of its kind ever assembled and made available to the public. Visitors to the park can enjoy both the art and its remarkable setting. Winding walking trails, lush landscaping, lakes and fountains have been specially designed to complement the art and provide a fitting backdrop for the work. The collection is free to tour and is open daily from dawn to dusk.

Evening

After soaking up some Frisco history, arts and culture, indulge in wines curated by a master sommelier and savor a curated selection of cheeses by artisanal cheesemongers at Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star's Lobby Bar. Enjoy dinner at one of Frisco’s unique and fine dining establishments such as Dee Lincoln Prime, Perry’s Steakhouse, Sushi Marquee or EG Steak. 

If hot dogs and popcorn are more your appetite, no matter what time of year, or day of the week, there is mostly like a sporting event taking place in Frisco.

Football fans can see the Indoor Football League’s Frisco Fighters at Comerica Center, May through August; soccer fans can catch a Major League Soccer FC Dallas match at Toyota Stadium, March through October; baseball fans can cheer on Minor League Baseball’s Frisco RoughRiders at Rider’s Field, April through September and basketball fans will want to catch a National Basketball G-League Texas Legends game at Comerica Center, November through March.

Along with these team’s regularly scheduled games, the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars often hold public practices and special events at Ford Center and Comerica Center, respectively.
