PNC Park

PNC Park, a must-see on any visit to Pittsburgh, is consistently ranked one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country. The park is located along the bank of the Allegheny River, which provides breathtaking and sweeping views of the beautiful Pittsburgh skyline. The ballpark was designed to combine classic style, and is the first "two deck" ballpark built in the United States since Milwaukee County Stadium was completed in 1953. The park provides riverfront access via boat, or through a pedestrian walkway along the river. Access from the city through the Roberto Clemente Bridge creates an easy walk from all downtown locations. On game days, the bridge is closed to traffic, and offered exclusively for pedestrian access to and from the city. Also on game days, there are a variety of activities along Federal Street and General Robinson Street that border the ballpark. Bands and interactive entertainment for all ages is available on the street.

• Pittsburgh's metro rail system travels from several points in the city to the North Shore, and is free of charge.
